Oriental Crystalline Silicon new material is a novel inorganic non-metallic silicon-based material, situated between ceramics, stone, and glass. It is a new type of green and environmentally friendly composite stone made by pressing oxides, carbides, nitrides, and other substances after high-temperature melting, rolling, and crystallization processes. This material is non-toxic, non-radioactive, antibacterial, mold-resistant, stain-resistant, wear-resistant, impact-resistant, highly malleable, and reusable.
Its main raw materials include quartz, feldspar, and calcite. Additionally, it can partially use industrial waste such as fly ash, copper and iron slag, and kaolin tailings as raw materials. This green and environmentally friendly approach fully complies with China’s sustainable development and ecological development strategies.
Globally, inorganic non-metallic silicon-based materials have gained widespread recognition and application, standing alongside organic polymer materials and metal materials as one of the three major material types. They are also hailed as one of the foundational materials of the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
